Ambassador Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 26 August 2026
Last Updated: 26 August 2026

These terms apply to anyone applying to be, or appointed as, a Mindship Global Student Ambassador. They sit alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which apply to everyone using www.mindshipglobal.com. Where this document is silent, those apply.

1. The Role

Student Ambassadors help make global opportunities more visible within their institution and community. The role is voluntary, and typically involves:

  • sharing opportunities published on Mindship Global with peers,
  • raising awareness of the platform at your institution,
  • encouraging other students to apply for opportunities,
  • giving us feedback on what students need.

There is no minimum number of hours, and you decide how much time you give.

2. Not Employment

The Student Ambassador role is voluntary and unpaid. It does not create a contract of employment, a worker relationship, a partnership, or an agency relationship between you and Mindship Global.

You are not entitled to any salary, wage, fee or benefit in respect of the role, and you should not describe yourself as an employee, agent or official representative of Mindship Global beyond the title of Student Ambassador.

3. Applying

By submitting an application you confirm that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and your own,
  • you are enrolled at, or have recently graduated from, the institution you name,
  • you are at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian,
  • the photograph you upload is of you and is yours to share.

Applications are reviewed individually. We are not obliged to accept any application, and we do not undertake to give reasons for a decision.

4. Ambassador ID and Verification

Approved ambassadors are issued a unique Ambassador ID and a digital ID card carrying their name, photograph, institution and appointment date.

That ID can be checked by anyone through the verification page on this Website, which confirms whether an ambassador is currently active. You agree that these details may be shown for that purpose for as long as your appointment is active.

The ID card remains the property of Mindship Global. You must not alter it, copy it for anyone else, or continue to present it once your appointment has ended.

5. Conduct

While representing Mindship Global you agree to:

  • act honestly, respectfully and lawfully,
  • share only information you believe to be accurate,
  • never charge anyone a fee in connection with Mindship Global,
  • never request or collect money, documents or personal data on our behalf,
  • never claim to decide, influence or guarantee the outcome of any opportunity,
  • avoid conduct that could reasonably damage the reputation of Mindship Global or of your institution.

Mindship Global does not award scholarships and does not select participants for the opportunities it lists. Ambassadors must not suggest otherwise.

6. Use of Our Name and Branding

While your appointment is active you may describe yourself as a “Mindship Global Student Ambassador” and use materials we provide for that purpose.

You may not register accounts, domains, pages or groups in the Mindship Global name, speak to press or partners on our behalf, enter into any agreement in our name, or alter our logo and branding. Those rights stay with us and are not granted by appointment.

7. Content You Share With Us

If you send us photographs, written pieces or other material in connection with the role, you confirm it is yours to share, and you grant Mindship Global a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in promoting the platform and the ambassador programme.

You may ask us to stop using material you have contributed, and we will do so within a reasonable period where it is practical.

8. Your Personal Data

Applying means giving us your name, contact details, institution, country and photograph. We use these to assess your application, to administer the programme, and – if you are appointed – to produce and verify your ID card.

How that data is stored, shared and deleted is set out in our Privacy Policy, including your right to ask for a copy of it or for it to be erased.

9. Duration and Ending the Appointment

Appointments run until the expiry date shown on the ID card, unless renewed or ended earlier.

You may step down at any time by contacting us; no notice and no reason is needed. We may end an appointment at any time, in particular where these terms are breached, where information given in an application proves inaccurate, or where the programme itself changes or closes.

When an appointment ends, verification will show the ambassador as no longer active, and you must stop presenting the ID card or describing yourself as a Student Ambassador.

10. Liability

Ambassadors act on their own behalf. Mindship Global is not responsible for statements, commitments or arrangements an ambassador makes that go beyond these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with the ambassador programme is limited as set out in our Terms and Conditions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the programme develops. The current version is always the one published on this page, and continuing in the role after a change means accepting the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
