Detailed Description

The TU Graz High Potentials programme is a scholarship initiative of Graz University of Technology that supports talented prospective Bachelor’s and Master’s students from Austria and abroad.

The programme is delivered in cooperation with companies, professional organisations and public-sector partners. Alongside financial support, scholarship recipients may gain access to academic mentoring, professional contacts and insights into the organisations supporting their scholarship.

Scholarships are linked to specific degree programmes and funding partners. Applicants should therefore check which scholarship matches their intended TU Graz programme before applying.

For the current Master’s scholarship cycle, TU Graz lists scholarships supported by ATCOLD, GRAWE and the Austrian Society for Geomechanics (ÖGG).

The ATCOLD and ÖGG scholarships currently support students entering the Master’s programme in Geotechnical and Hydraulic Engineering.

GRAWE currently supports selected Master’s programmes including Computer Science, Computational Social Systems, Data Science, Information and Computer Engineering, Mathematics and Software Engineering and Management.

For Bachelor’s applicants, the currently published GRAWE scholarship supports prospective students in Computer Science, Information and Computer Engineering, and Software Engineering and Management.

TU Graz notes that further scholarships from partner companies may be added during an application period, so applicants should regularly check the official High Potentials page.

Applicants do not need to have received their TU Graz admission decision when submitting their scholarship application. However, successful candidates must ultimately meet the admission requirements and begin the relevant degree programme at TU Graz in winter semester 2027/28.
