Detailed Description

The Salzburg Global Internships 2027 offer young professionals the opportunity to work on-site with Salzburg Global in Salzburg, Austria. Salzburg Global is an international non-profit organisation that convenes leaders and changemakers around issues covering health, education, culture, peace and justice, and finance and governance.

Interns become part of Salzburg Global's international team and contribute directly to its programmes and organisational activities. Depending on the internship selected, participants may work in communications and multimedia, programme coordination, research, fundraising and institutional development, library management or digital archiving.

The internships are full-time and last for a maximum of three months. They are not salaried positions. However, Salzburg Global provides successful Salzburg-based interns with significant practical support, including board and lodging at Schloss Leopoldskron, return travel from their country of origin, accident and health insurance and assistance with the visa process. Visa fees themselves remain the responsibility of the intern.

The current 2027 recruitment includes standard Communications, Development, Library and Program Internships. A separate Hong Kong Universities Internship is also available, but that particular track is restricted to applicants who are currently enrolled at or recently graduated from a university in Hong Kong.

Start periods differ by internship. Communications and Program internships offer several potential start periods during 2027, while Development currently lists a late-September start and Library internships offer mid-January, early-July and late-September periods. Exact dates are confirmed to successful candidates.
